A reimagining of one of my childhood favourites—Labyrinth—now wrapped in soft lines and Studio Ghibli wonder.

I saw Labyrinth at the cinema when I was a kid, and it’s stuck with me ever since. The puppets, the weirdness, that soundtrack—David Bowie in full glam goblin king mode. It was wild, magical, and just a little bit terrifying.
Seeing it reimagined in Ghibli style? Honestly, it just hits. The ballroom scene feels dreamier. The Goblin King looks like he could be a misunderstood spirit from Spirited Away. And Sarah—still brave, still trying to make sense of the madness—is every inch the kind of heroine you'd expect from Miyazaki’s world.

It’s the mashup I didn’t know I needed. Childhood memory meets animated comfort. And it somehow makes the whole thing feel even more timeless.
“You have no power over me.” Even in soft, painted frames… still iconic.
